Yeah, about that.
Listen up, Vote-Blue-No-Matter-Who-We-Screw Dems. You guys are getting really out of hand and need a serious reality check.
No-one is being “mean” to you or the neo-liberal criminals you hold so dear. Vetting your party’s candidates and presenting factual evidence based on their records is not an act of vitriol, it’s responsible citizenship. And this holds true for any and all comers, not just the Democrats. You might want to give research a go sometime. You’d be amazed at what you’d learn. Which is probably why you don’t do it.
When you propose someone as prospective leader of the free world (in theory, you get my drift), it’s a really good idea to check if their campaign rhetoric matches their actions, past and present.
If it does not, that’s on you and your crappy candidate. Nobody else. Quit crying like little bitches when someone points out your fave-rave’s unpleasant and inconvenient voting record and donor lists. You need to stop aiding and abetting these shysters.
And if you won’t, you deserve to get reamed. Actions have consequences.
And, while we’re at it, don’t hand us that “unity” line of bullshit either. You don’t want unity, you want acquiescence, which is quite a different animal, darlings. If you sincerely wanted unity, you wouldn’t insist that Independents and/or Progressives toe your line or else. You’d acknowledge and accept that your party can’t win without us (because you can’t) and make yourselves more appealing to non-Dems instead of being snotty, elitist twat-waffles to anyone who might shatter your illusions.
That didn’t work out so great for you guys in 2016 if you recall.
Most Democrats expect, nay demand, unthinking, automatic loyalty from anyone who’s not officially playing for Team GOP. The arrogance and presumptuousness are breathtaking. The DNC is not entitled to my support, therefore refusing to vote for a corporatist Democrat is not being “mean.”
Where the hell is the logic in that?
How is not voting for your preferred candidate mean?
And who are you to tell us that we need to just suck it up and accept whatever clown/criminal you offer us anyway?
Why do you think we owe you anything?

Seriously, fuck off with that shit. It’s beyond tired.
Once again for those who missed it the first gazillionty times I said it — you have no right laying claim to anyone’s vote or getting pissy and petulant when you're rebuffed.

So look, here’s the bottom line.
We simply don’t have time for your useless, incremental fuckery. The planet is dying. Our fellow humans are dying.
DYING.
The crisis point isn’t coming — it’s HERE.
The time for decisive action is now. Cowardly clinging to the same old neolib crapola is NOT an option. This is not a matter of politics. It’s a matter of moral responsibility to each other, future generations, and the planet.
This isn’t a game of Blue vs. Red here, it’s some real shit. So stop pretending it’s the 90s (unless it’s to fantasize about a young Eddie Vedder on occasion.) Electing yet more Third-Way Clintonite Dems is dangerously regressive. Everyone sees this but you guys. Establishment Democrats have become as rigid and dogmatic and fanatical and conservative as the GOP.
Yes, you have. Own it.
The familiar, well-trod, neoliberal middle road leads only to certain annihilation. Now granted, it might take the Democrats a few minutes longer to get us there than the Republicans, but the end result is the same.
Exactly the same.
Why can’t you get that?
Bernie Sanders supporters and other Progressives aren’t being mean to you insufferable fools. We are angry and outraged at what’s happening to our fellow humans and the planet. It’s hard to understand how you cannot see the urgency here. Your cowardice in the face of our imminent ruin is unfathomable and infuriating.
If you refuse to be part of the solution, please, for the love of fuck, at least get the hell out of our way while we try to fix this shit.
On that note —
Do the country a favor. If you’ve already committed to supporting the Democratic nominee no matter what a steaming, greasy pile of shit they are, please sit out the primaries. Clearly it’s of no consequence to you who you vote for as long as it’s some asshole wearing blue.
I’m not the only one calling for this. I’m just adding my big mouth to the chorus.
Step aside and let the more discerning voters make that crucial call. You know, the ones who care about policy and the issues. Some of us don’t have the luxury of uncomplainingly supporting the elite class anymore.
And lastly quit your damn whining. You sound like grasping-at-straws fucking idiots.
